Happy 2014!
If you are an active follower of reader of this blog, or you befriend me on Goodreads, Twitter or Facebook, then there’s a chance that you would know that 2013 was not too friendly for me in case of reading books. And at the beginning of the year I got overwhelmed too by joining too many reading challenges. No need to say that with my even tighter schedule during the year, I failed in most reading challenges I’ve joined in 2013. But, a wrap-up post must I make. I am writing this post with a promise to myself that I WON’T join too many reading challenges in 2014, and if I do join some I will try hard to complete them.
Here are the challenges I joined in 2013 and the books I managed to read for them. If I have written a review for the book then it should look like this : [Book Title] by [Author] (reviewed)
Goodreads 2013 Reading Challenge
At the beginning of the year I set a target of 50 books to be read in 2013, but I changed it a couple of times throughout the year. The last time I changed my target, it was 35 books. Somehow I managed to read 39 books out of 35 (that’s 111% completed). Click the image above to see the books I have read in 2013. I’ve set a reading target of 40 books for 2014. I hope that I could manage to complete it well!

How could keep reading like you?
I’ve been reading Jane Eyre since early 2013 but
I couldn’t finish at early 2014…give up then just reading the review

Hmmm maybe you just need to push yourself harder. Set a target to read 50 pages a day, for example. I admit that Jane Eyre was boring until the middle of it, but once you got passed that, the story is good and worth reading. Good luck!
